Welcome to the Seattle Children's Research Institute's Genomics and Spatial Biology Collaborative Laboratory (CoLab), an institutional resource to enable efficient and equitable access to state-of-the-art scientific equipment and expertise to advance collaborative, cutting-edge pediatric research.
The CoLab has the following platforms available for your genomics, single cell, and spatial needs:
*Available for independent use to trained users
We provide end-to-end workflows for CosMx & GeoMx and an expanding list of library prep services for both Illumina and PacBio sequencing. In addition, we offer consultations, grant support, & methods development/drafting for services performed by the CoLab.
For grant review, methods drafting, or custom protocols/preparations not listed under our services tab, please request a consult. The CoLab is happy to help plan & execute novel protocols.

PacBio Revio Sequencing Only |
The PacBio Revio is a 3rd generation sequencing platform using single molecule, real time (SMRT) sequencing to generate high quality consensus reads up to 20kb in length for gDNA. A single SMRTcell generates approximately 90GB of data, roughly 30x coverage of a human genome, with minimum phred score of Q30. This amplification-free DNA sequencing method also provides 5mC calls for every read, unlocking epigenetic information with no additional treatments or computation. Revio sequencing can also be used for transcriptome & isoform sequencing, multiplexed PCR product or amplicon sequencing, and multiplexed microbial genome sequencing. Sequencing-only includes the cost of 1 SMRTcell, sequencing reagents, and labor. Data will be returned as unaligned BAMs and PDF quality report by default, but users may opt to receive kinetic data as well.
Library QC (Qubit & FemtoPulse) are available for additional fee per prepared library. |
